Biography
Actress, singer, and dancer Ariana Grande is best known for portraying the character Cat Valentine on the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious. Born in 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida, Grande sang from a young age and by her teens had performed with several South Florida orchestral ensembles. She made her Broadway debut at age 15 in the role of Charlotte in the musical 13. She then appeared in the role of Miriam in Desmond Child's musical Cuba Libre. From 2010 to 2013, Grande portrayed the character of Cat Valentine on the high school-set Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious. In 2013, she was set to star in the Victorious spin-off show Sam & Cat, as well as release her debut full-length album, Daydreamin', on Republic Records. In March of 2013, Grande released the album's lead single, "The Way," featuring rapper Mac Miller.
